The first Andaz in Asia is situated in Xintiandi, a landmark entertainment district in the heart of downtown Shanghai. Internationally acclaimed for its restored Shikumen architecture, the Andaz Shanghai fashionably embraces its famous locale. With luxurious, futuristic surroundings and a full gamut of resort-style amenities including nightclubs and a rooftop wedding chapel, the hotel is driven by a philosophy that caters to a guest’s personal preferences.
Inspired by the Shanghai Sisters associated with the1920’s nightlife, the architectural lighting design plays an essential part in the overall ambiance of refined comfort and wellbeing. Supporting both the designer’s vision and the Andaz focus on energy optimization, GRE Alpha’s easy install SLD and XLD smart dimming modules play an integral role in maintaining a low brightness and balance control level for light glare control.
